We the undersigned residents of the Town of Clarkstown, County of
Rockland, State of New York, petition the Clarkstown Central School District
to name the newly opened Music Room in the new wing of Clarkstown High
School North as the "Doctor Edward (Doc) Carney Music Room" in
recognition of the many years of service Doctor Carney gave as Chairman of
the Music Department for the Clarkstown Central School District, and in
recognition of the valuable and positive contributions he made to hundreds
of students and the community during his years of service at Clarkstown.
